About Us: Add-a-Deck & Better by Design has developed a reputation in the home improvement industry for innovative and stylish designs. With more than 30 years in the business, owner Brent Sullivan says “the quality of workmanship goes without saying, providing seamless design that integrates into your existing architecture.
Add-A-Deck has been a member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) since 1991 and has received recognition in the form of a “Housing Award” in 1998 and as finalist for the “Best Use of Timber” in 1996.
As the Principal and “Builder” of the company, Brent oversees all stages of the process and all work is carried out under his Builder’s License.
Brent has extensive knowledge and experience gained from projects in Australia & New Zealand, the Netherlands and England. His experience ranges from the design phase through to the fit out, cabinetry to carpentry, and he has qualifications in Design and Project Management, as well as a postgraduate Certificate in Design Science from Sydney University, in which he gained a Distinction in “Building Design Practice”.
